چکیده
The discovery of the Aleurocanthus cf. spiniferus (Tea spiny whitefly morphotype; previously found in Tokyo) for first time Shizuoka Prefecture raised possibility that this species had invaded Honshu Island, Japan. Unlike allied species, and A. camelliae, which have been intercepted from China to Japan, origin current remains unclear. Despite status as a minor pest on ornamental plant, Eurya japonica, cryptic diversity among black is fascinating be elucidated, specifically how primary endosymbiont whiteflies, Portiera aleyrodidarum, coevolved contributed classification whiteflies. study examines taxonomic five i.e., (Quaintance), aff. spiniferus, camelliae Kanmiya Kasai, Aleurotrachelus Kuwana, ishigakiensis Takahashi. Using consortium molecular typing targeting mitochondrial DNA (COI 16S mitoribosome), nuclear gene (ITS1), ribosomal Portiera, phylogenetic clustering analysis has conducted revealed genus sensu lato was clustered together with Aleurocanthini Takahashi, 1954 stat. rev. reinstated Crenidorsum comb. nov. due crescent-shaped scallops being clearly defined. also unveiled several putative complex, molecularly. In addition, recombination event not detected but mtCOI genes woglumi sequences deposited NCBI database. gives an insight into speciation process complex.

Reference Gene Selection for qRT-PCR Analysis in the Sweetpotato Whitefly, Bemisia tabaci (Hemiptera: Aleyrodidae)
BACKGROUND Accurate evaluation of gene expression requires normalization relative to the expression of reliable reference genes. Expression levels of "classical" reference genes can differ, however, across experimental conditions. Although quantitative real-time PCR (qRT-PCR) has been used extensively to decipher gene function in the sweetpotato whitefly Bemisia tabaci, a world-wide pest in man...
متن کاملNuclear DNA content of the whitefly Bemisia tabaci (Aleyrodidae: Hemiptera) estimated by flow cytometry.
The nuclear DNA content of the whitefly Bemisia tabaci (Gennnadius) was estimated using flow cytometry. Male and female nuclei were stained with propidium iodide and their DNA content was estimated using chicken red blood cells and Arabidopsis thaliana L. (Brassicaceae) as external standards. The estimated nuclear DNA content of male and female B. tabaci was 1.04 and 2.06 pg, respectively. Thes...
متن کاملComplete Mitochondrial Genome of the Citrus Spiny Whitefly Aleurocanthus spiniferus (Quaintance) (Hemiptera: Aleyrodidae): Implications for the Phylogeny of Whiteflies
In this study, we sequenced the complete mitochondrial genome (15,220 bp) of the citrus spiny whitefly, Aleurocanthus spiniferus (Quaintance), a well-known pest from the superfamily Aleyrodidae. The A. spiniferus mitogenome contains 36 genes, including 13 protein-coding genes (PCGs), 21 transfer RNAs (tRNA), two ribosomal RNAs (rRNA) and a large non-coding region (control region, CR). Like most...
